PowerApps Portals Zero to Hero 2021 - Session 2
Zero To Hero is an initiative that aims to assist, coach and encourage professional to achieve the highest level of proficiency in various Power Platform related technologies. In our first session, we were delighted to coach and support the community o professionals in many topics within the PowerApps Portals technologies.

It's great to see the interaction between the attendees and following the progress people are making individually when they share their own portal setups. PowerApps Portals Zero to Hero mentorship program is immensely beneficial for me who was struggling to learn portal development. As a beginner I tried to learn it before on my own. However I felt, the content available on the web is too overwhelming to grasp without proper guidance. The way Victor explains nitty gritty of portals is awesome and it is helpful. Absolutely loved these sessions, it has been a world class learning experience. Participating in these sessions have really helped us overcome issues and develop out our in flight build of portal as well as learn best practices and tips and tricks as we go. Something else I really loved was the inclusiveness of the course, being a working mum in the UK's lock down I couldn't always get on the weekly meets, however these were available on youtube after the session so I never fell behind. There were people from all over the world from all backgrounds and experience. All in all an amazing effort with a massive impact on the community from Victor and team.. - Crissie C.
I’m so impressed with this class and content. I NEVER thought I would be able to create a website/portal that had a carousel or understand coding etc. I have learned so much about power apps, more at the power platform and have a better understanding of code, and structure on websites. The class has been enlightening to me. There are not many online courses available that one can purchase on this topic so we're all lucky to have all this guidance provided to us from a MVP at no cost and be able to ask questions along the way. Even though I had used ADX portal in the past for a demo, so much of it has changed since then such as the new Portal Studio and I never went really deep into discovering all the settings that one could use. Power Portal has a lot less mysteries now that we're almost through the course. I feel that I have all that is needed to get up and running to build my own portals if the need arises at my workplace and if there's anything I know I can always go back to the lessons recordings. The Power Portals Zero to Hero has been an awesome experience! Although I had very little knowledge of Power Apps Portals coming into the sessions, I feel a lot more confident that I am now able to successfully configure a feature rich portal that will provide a first class user experience.
